Kateryna Zarembo calls Italy and Donbas “two big topics of her life”, continuing the promotion of her book in the Italian media space.

In an interview with host Ludovic Zanette, the author told about the inspiration behind the title of the book and how it was brought by the fans of the Shakhtar football club, myths about Ukrainian Donbas, which are debunked in the study.

Fake narratives of Russian propaganda regarding Donbas have long been successful in the Italian environment, which still affects the wrong perception of the region as Russian. The promotion of the book, participation in interviews and releasing  individual articles for Italian publications are part of Kateryna’s strategy of demystifying Donbas for foreign society.
