On June 23, Kateryna Zarembo’s translation of Tony Judt’s book “Postwar: A History of Europe Since 1945” was presented at the International Book Arsenal Festival. Oleksandra Gaidai, science editor of Ukrainian translation, historian, leading researcher at the Museum of History in Kyiv, as well as Volodymyr Yermolenko, philosopher and writer, doctor of political studies, lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy took part in the book discussion.
On 27-28 May, the Centre for International Security organized the NATO Spring Academy “NATO Strategic Concept 2030: Alliance and Ukraine in a New Security Environment” in Severodonetsk for students from Donetsk and Luhansk regions. At the invitation of the Centre for International Security, Kateryna Zarembo was the speaker at the NATO Academy event.
On May 24 – 25 Kateryna Zarembo taught training in analytics for the NGO “Flora”.
On May 12, in the framework of the Renaissance Foundation university think tanks support programme, Kateryna Zarembo and her colleague Taras Doroniuk taught an impact assessment training for university think tanks.
On March 22, the Ukrainian Institute organized a discussion on Ukraine’s performance on the Global Soft Power Index, which is conducted annually by the independent consulting company Brand Finance. In the ranking, which measures the level of familiarity of a country, its reputation, and influence, Ukraine took 61st place out of 100.
On March 19, the Centre for International Security organized the presentation of the sociological research “Perception of NATO in Donbas and South of Ukraine” conducted by the Centre for Applied Research. The presentation was moderated by Kateryna Zarembo.
On March 12, the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation presented the results of research on the attitude of Ukrainians to superpowers. At the invitation of the Foundation, Kateryna Zarembo took part in a discussion of the survey results.
