Kateryna Zarembo’s book “Policy Paper Writing Guide. The Art of Persuasive Text” is available for pre-order!
On June 24, Vikhola Publishing House announced the pre-order of Kateryna Zarembo’s book “Policy Paper Writing Guide. The Art of Persuasive Text”, prepared in collaboration with Iryna Lapshyna (Ukrainian Catholic University), Ilona Sologub (VoxUkraine), Taras Doroniuk (Kyiv School of Economics), Anna Jüngen (National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”).
The book “Policy Paper Writing Guide” opens the curtain of the work of analysts, and the analytical text itself is scrupulously analyzed from its design and purpose to the structure and effectiveness evaluation. The authors show how to conduct the necessary research analysis, build arguments, choose a writing style, and convince one’s audience.
Kateryna Zarembo believes that anyone who sincerely wants and is willing to make an effort can learn to write analytical materials. Namely the ability to write persuasive texts based on evidence analysis can be useful in a variety of situations – from political decisions to writing a post on social media. The author is convinced the analytical text can be elegant and fascinating, and most importantly it can yield changes in actions or consciousness.
The book was prepared within the framework of the Think Tanks Development Initiative for Ukraine, implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Open Society Initiative for Europe (OSIFE) with the financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine.
The book, which is expected to be published in September this year, can be pre-ordered here.
